Private Experiences:

Our private events are reserved as a full buyout experience for your group for a selected amount of time. Reset Maui delivers, sets up, operates, manages, and breaks down the entire sauna and cold plunge experience directly at your private residence, villa, retreat, or event location. Our team remains onsite throughout the event to assist guests, manage the equipment, and ensure everything runs smoothly and safely from start to finish.

Pop-Up Events:

Our pop-up events are hosted in partnership with local businesses at private venues across Maui and are designed as a shared social wellness experience. Guests attend on a per-person basis and are served first come, first serve, with the option to reserve sessions ahead of time through our booking link. Pop-up events are announced ahead of time on social media.

Our mobile sauna requires a relatively flat area for setup and occupies roughly the same amount of space as a large vehicle. For cold plunge experiences, we'll need access to a standard garden hose connection to fill the tubs.

If you're unsure whether your location is a good fit, we're happy to arrange a pre-booking site visit to assess access and setup requirements.

We recommend swimwear or lightweight athletic clothing that can handle both heat and cold exposure.

Please bring your own water bottle and make sure you are hydrated.

We provide towels, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own.

Most sauna sessions are enjoyed in short, repeat rounds, rather than one long sit.

Guests typically spend 10–20 minutes in the sauna, followed by a brief cold plunge (30 seconds to 3+ minutes). This hot–cold cycle can be repeated multiple times, depending on comfort and experience.

If you’re new to contrast therapy, we recommend starting on the lower end—around 10 minutes of heat and a short cold dip, then resting before your next round. More experienced guests may choose longer heat sessions and colder plunges, always listening to their body.

There’s no “right” way—contrast therapy is about tuning into what feels good for you.

Start with whatever feels comfortable for you. A sauna can be a great way to warm up and ease into the experience, or you can begin with a cold plunge if that feels right. Follow your instincts and move between heat and cold at your own pace.

Yes! We provide a portable changing room for you and your group.

We offer mobile sauna and cold plunge experiences throughout most of Maui. Due to travel logistics, we currently do not service Hāna. If you have questions about your location, please contact us and we’ll be glad to confirm availability.

Our sauna is fueled by propane.

The sauna can get above 200 degrees Fahrenheit. We set the sauna between 160 and 200 degrees fahrenheit.

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking date. Once your deposit is received and the booking agreement is signed, your reservation is confirmed and the date will be reserved exclusively for your experience.
The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the scheduled experience.

Because we reserve equipment, staffing, and transportation specifically for your event, deposits are non-refundable. In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will work with you to reschedule whenever possible.

We offer a traditional Finnish-style sauna. Our Voyageur sauna is fully custom-built, made in the USA and designed specifically for Reset Maui, honoring classic Finnish sauna principles while delivering a modern, elevated experience.

We understand that plans can change. For private bookings, cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled experience are non-refundable, and the deposit will be retained.

For safety and liability reasons, staff supervision is required during all sauna and cold plunge experiences.

Sauna and contrast therapy can be beneficial for many people, but they may not be appropriate for everyone. As always, we encourage guests to check with their doctor or healthcare provider to determine what’s right for them — especially if they are pregnant or have cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, or other medical conditions.

During your session, listen to your body and exit the sauna or cold plunge at any time if you feel uncomfortable.

Yes. Hose access is required in order to fill and refresh the cold plunges.

Yes, we provide 100% cotton towels. You’re also more than welcome to bring your own.

For cleanliness and care of our sauna, sitting on a towel is required inside the sauna.

Absolutely — that’s the beauty of Reset Maui. You can enjoy a sauna or a cold plunge on their own, but many guests love combining them in a sauna + plunge cycle for maximum benefits, which is what our team recommends. As always, listen to what your body needs.

• Stay hydrated before, during, and after your session

• Be mindful and respectful of others sharing the space

Yes. All participants are required to review and sign a waiver prior to participating.

Designed for flexibility, our sauna runs fully off-grid, so we can set up anywhere — no electricity needed.

For events that include cold plunges, water access is required. Electricity is optional, though recommended for longer bookings to keep temperatures perfectly chilled.

Yes. Reset Maui is fully insured. Proof of insurance can be provided upon request for venues, corporate events, or partnered experiences.
